Kick Buts is a 6-month text-messaging based quitting support system that is simple, convenient, and easy to use. Proven to work, Kick Buts is your personal coach to help you quit. Our program includes a combination of regularly scheduled messages (up to 3 per day), personalized reminders (up to 5 per day), and interactive text messaging support (as much as you want!)... all geared toward helping you quit and stay quit. Think of us as a Quit Coach in your pocket!
Kick Buts is offered through employers, health plans, and health & wellness companies, which we refer to as Plan Sponsors. If you learned about our program through a Plan Sponsor, enter the Plan Sponsor Code they provided on our Home page to access the enrollment form. If you were not provided a Plan Sponsor Code and want to find out if you are eligible, send us a note at customerservice@kickbuts.com and we'll be glad to help you.
If you have been given a Plan Sponsor Code and are eligible for the program, there is no cost to enroll in Kick Buts. Your Plan Sponsor has covered the program fees. Once you enroll, text messaging and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier plan.
You will start receiving messages two weeks prior to your Quit Date. The standard program includes 3 messages per day for the duration of the 6 month program. As a user you can set up to 5 personal text reminders as well.
Standard text messaging and data rates may apply depending on your individual plan and wireless carrier. If your plan includes unlimited text messages, there should be no additional costs for using Kick Buts.
Kick Buts is available on the following carriers: AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, Nextel, Boost, U.S. Cellular and Alltel
